Albert Einstein One of the Smartest Men Who Ever Lived

Albert Einstein was born March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Wurrtemburg, Germany. His parents names were Herman and Pauline. And due to Albert's father's job the Einsteins had to move to Munich.

There he attended a Catholic elementary school from the ages of five to eight. Then being transferred to the Luitpold Gymnasium he recieved primary and secondary school education. He then left Germany. He may have had speech difficulty at a young age, however he was at the top of his elementary school.

Even at a young age Albert had the tendency to be curios and ask questions. For instance once when his father showed him a compass. Albert was puzzled that although there was an emptiness the needle still managed to move.

As he grew he began to show a talent for mathematics Max Talmund introducced Albert to key texts in mathematics, science, and philosophy which include Euclid's Elements. Which Albert called the "holy little geometry book." Talmund regularly had meals with the Einsteins on thursdays for six years. He would also use this time to teach Albert about many secular educational interest.

In 1894 due to his father's companys failure, the Einsteins were forced to move. First they moved to Italy, then after a few months they moved to Pavia. However Albert was left behind to finish his studies in Munich. But in desperation of not staying he started to defy authorities, and resent the schools regimen, and teaching methods. And later writing that the spirit of learning and creative thought were lost in the strict rote learning. In the spring of 1895 he convinced the school to let him go join his family in Pavia.

In this time he was able to write his first scientific work "The Investigation of the State of Aether and Magnetic Fields." He applied immediately at the Eidgenossische Polytechnische Schule in Zurich, Switzerland. He took an entrance examination, he ended up failing, and got high scores for mathematics and physics.Albert was then sent to Aarau to finish secondary school. While staying with a professor Jost Winteler he fell in love with his daughter Marie. At 17 he graduated with his fathers approval. Renounced his citizenship in the German Kingdom of Wurttemberg to avoid military service.

After graduating he spent nearly two aggravating years searching for a job. But through a friend he was able to secure a job at the Federal Office for Intellectual property, otherwise known as the patent office. Most of his work at the patent office related to question about transmissions of electric signals and electrical-mechanical synchronization of time. This eventually led Einstein to his extreme thoughts about light and its properties and the connection between space and time.

Albert recieved his PhD at the University of Zurich. That same year is considered his "miracle year" due to the fact that he published 4 ground breaking papers. Which talked about photoelectric effect, brownian motion, special relativity, and the equivalence on matter and energy, which brought him into the spotlight of the scientific community.

In 1911, he had worked out that, based off his theory of general relativity, light from another solar system would be bent by the gravity of out sun. That was proven by a British expedition when they traveled to Africa during a solar eclipse. In May 29 of 1919 the expedition, led by Sir Arthur Eddington made Albert Einstein world famous.

Is Bloggining Journalism?

I'm pretty sure that you have heard the debate in todays world on whether or not blogging is journalism. And honestly both sides put in a pretty good argument, however I think that one side makes most sense.
And that is...blogging is journalism! All biases aside I think blogging is journalism, because when you blog you talk about what is going on in todays world only differences are that you give your views when you blog.
